AMNESTY WILL DUMP HESTA AS THEIR STAFF DEFAULT FUND IF HESTA DOES NOT DUMP FOSSIL FUELS.

Amnesty knows that the human rights of anyone facing any form of disadvantage will be increasingly compromised by climate change. Fossil fuels are the new tobacco – only a lot, lot worse – so why would any social justice organisation, such as Amnesty, place their beneficiaries at further disadvantage through their super ?

Concerned former Hesta members and friends of Hesta members spoke up at a Hesta retirement seminar in Bendigo in May 2022  to point out that Hesta’s fossil fuel investments driving dangerous climate change will disproportionately impact women and children, indeed anyone facing social disadvantage.
